Terms of Service

What hooleft.me is

A web app that tells you who unfollowed you on Instagram. You download your own Instagram data export from instagram.com and upload it to us. We process it and show you the results.

We are not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. We don't connect to Instagram. We never log in on your behalf or scrape anything.

Your account

• You must be at least 13, or the minimum age in your country, whichever is higher.
• One account per person. Keep your login credentials safe.
• The info you give us (email, Instagram handles) should be accurate.

What you can and can't do

You can use hooleft.me to analyze your own Instagram data.

You can't:

• Upload data that isn't yours.
• Use the service to harass, stalk, or harm anyone.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
• Use it in a way that breaks Instagram's own Terms of Use — that's between you and Instagram, and it's your responsibility.

Pricing and billing

• Free: $0. Limited results.
• Pro: $3.99/month, billed annually at $48 (USD). Full results, history, multiple handles.
• Payments are processed by Polar.sh, who acts as Merchant of Record — they handle invoicing and sales tax.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel.
• No refunds. All sales are final. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; you'll keep Pro access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• If your EU/UK statutory consumer rights give you a withdrawal right we can't override, those rights still apply.
• If a payment fails, we'll keep you on Pro briefly while Polar retries. If it can't be collected, you go back to Free.

Your data and ours

• Your uploaded data is yours. You give us permission to process it solely to provide the service to you.
• The hooleft.me service, code, and brand are ours.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." Instagram exports are point-in-time snapshots from a file you give us — we can't guarantee the results are complete or perfectly accurate, because we have no way to verify against Instagram itself.

Ending things

• You can leave anytime — delete your account in Settings.
• We can suspend or close your accountif you breach these terms, abuse the service, or don't pay.
• When your account is closed, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If you're a consumer somewhere else, your local consumer-protection laws may give you additional non-waivable rights.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and let you know if the change is significant. Continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.
